Jasmine’s career spans the private and not-for-profit sectors. She is currently the international CEO of Save the Children, the world’s leading independent organisation for children, working in 120 countries with 25 000 staff and annual revenues of US$2.2 billion. Jasmine is also a non-executive director of BT Group Plc and Standard Chartered Plc.
After graduating in English from Bristol University in 1986, Jasmine started out in marketing with Rio Tinto, moved to the US to work for a venture-funded tech company, and became Managing Director of a Thomson Financial business. Then, after completing the Stanford Executive Program in 1998, Jasmine moved to West Africa with Oxfam, was appointed Oxfam’s international director in 2002 and CEO of Save the Children UK in 2005. Jasmine holds dual British/Swiss nationality and is married with two children.
